There has been some fuss made over the past months since the draft about the supposedly lack of scoring threats on The Kittens. The question is "Besides Big Burly Ben (Triple-B), who is going to put up points for them?" To answer that I present you with this clip of an article posted by The City Paper, Wednesday November 20, 2002 -
The Bruins should wage a tough battle with Hillsboro for the district title, headed by hot-shooting guard Walker Campbell (who scored 25 points in a recent scrimmage), along with the lone returning senior starter, Danny Krow (5 ppg). Coach Dennis King has great depth in shooters, along with experience at the point guard position.
I think Danny's numbers should speak for themselves and I consider this matter closed....I just hope we can get Walker on our team before this thing starts.
Fantastic. Where the hell did you find that quote?
ReplyDeleteGreat research, and hit the nail on the head. BUT don't think for one minute our team has not put in a specific defense to contain DK's stellar 3.5 PPG in PCTI.
ReplyDeleteAll this is a classic example of media bias. What this article does not point out is how great of a TEAMMATE I am.
ReplyDeleteOr your 8 to 3 ratio
ReplyDeleteI dare someone to beat that.
