On Court Style Rankings

Sadly, one of the most important aspects of all sports (and life really) is looking the part... In list format, below are the top and bottom three as it relates to on-court style, with the metrics being...
  • Shoes/Sock Combo.
  • Color Coordination.
  • Accessories.
Top 3:

1.  Ben Wilson:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: A.
  • Color Coordination: A.
  • Accessories: A.
Commentary: Not only one of PCTI's top players, Wilson looks the part on the court, with his heavy use of accessories, innovation, color, and always the latest and greatest.  Does a good job with a great short, and a good combo of shoes/socks.  Will occasionally throw in some team gear to keep everyone on their toes.

2.  Scotty D:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: B+.
  • Color Coordination: A.
  • Accessories: B.
Commentary: Not as flashy as Wilson, Donley combines his athletic look with PCTI's best tuck, a great looking sock, and a perfect length tight.  Simple yet classy.

3.   The Actor:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: B.
  • Color Coordination: C.
  • Accessories: C.
Commentary: You can get points for effort!  Barely edging out the Big Man, Act comes in with his creative approach to gearing up... Act spends significant time scouring the internet looking for old school, creative shorts, headband, and sock options, and always gets a comment from the fans. The whole ensemble doesn't blow you away, but as it relates to getting attention, the Act accomplishes his goal.

Bottom 3:

3.  Michael Business:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: C.
  • Color Coordination: F.
  • Accessories: F.
Commentary: For as much love as he gets for his looks, he doesn't earn it with any effort... He almost goes out of his way to find a plain, ugly short that clashes with his outfit, and typically runs shoes for five years at a time.  This guy's style is WEAK.

2. Sabin:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: D.
  • Color Coordination: F.
  • Accessories: F.
Commentary: It's no secret I love Sabin like family, but this dude is as clueless as he is disinterested about looking the part... Maybe his all business approach makes him only care about results, but I'm confident even if he tried, he couldn't come up with anything to improve his on-court appearance.

1. Rain:
  • Shoes/Sock Combo: F.
  • Color Coordination: Incomplete.
  • Accessories: F.
Commentary: What separates the Rainmaker from the rest is the effort he makes to ensure he's clashing as much as possible.  Unlike the two above him that just don't care, The Rain is very strategic when planning his outfits to make sure there's as much color on his body as there is in his name (and personality for that matter).  His ability to combine a jersey with a stripe on the side along with neon shorts with a non matching stripe down the side is that of legend. His shoes are so bright it makes your eyes hurt and his small quads and monster calves make the whole look come together perfectly.  The only bright side to Rain's ranking is once Smooth comes on he's a shoe in for this slot.
