Recent Beas and Sabin Hoop Sessions

The last couple weeks have been eventful in Dallas, a Saturday morning session with Sabin two weeks ago then a guest appearance from the Nature Boy to round it out.  Some quick news and notes from each session...

Players: Rainbow, Smooth, Sabin, DTB.

Overall Analysis: A classic Sabin run Saturday session where the typical draft turned into him putting the four members of PCTI on the same squad, with significant success.  All members looked in mid season form.

Rain Analysis: Active, full of energy, and making plays, the Rainbow was all over the court causing organized chaos.  Stretched the floor nicely with some deep 3's and transition layups.

Sabin Analysis: High T Sabin in full effect, if he wasn't shooting 90% and in someone's grill defensively, he had his world famous snarl on and arguing with someone.  Did what he always does, just more fluid, explosive and quick than the Sabin of PCTI VII.  Just don't make the mistake of throwing him a pass that isn't perfectly in the shooting pocket.

Smooth Analysis: If this Smooth shows up to PCTI, Team Wilson got a steal.  Constantly moving without the ball and sneaking around the 3-point line, Smooth converted 80% of his 3's, and attacked the basket when the defense closed out long.  He competed on D and boxed out hard.

Players: Nature Boy, Rainbow, Smooth, DTB.

Overall Analysis: Two good sessions with the Beas in town,  and was a good opportunity for two teammates (Beas and Smooth) to get acclimated.

Beas Analysis: Looks beyond mid-season form.  Handle and shot was not only superior, but borderline perfect.  Fluid movements and defense were in full effect.  Some highlights from one of the games below.
