PCTI9 City Released

During PCTI8, there were many whispers about multiple guys plans to pitch a city and host PCTI9...Whether it be for a legitimate reason, or sheer laziness, no one else pitched, leaving the choice of the PCTI9 destination all up to me.

Typically I love the opportunity to make unopposed decisions, but my lack of interest in hosting has been well documented, so I guess this was everyone's way of sticking it back to me... For that, I thank you.

Anyway, I'm not going to give a big song and dance about this choice because frankly, it's not going to blow anyone away.  It's no secret I've always been a big proponent of PCTI thriving in the smaller scale cities (Plano and Cincy stick out as two of the best), and after the blowout in San Diego, along with whatever we decide on for the 10 year anniversary, my thought was a little more low key environment would be ideal.

Anyway, for that reason, PCTI9 will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota from July 11-15th.

Positives About MN:

• PCTI's takes on Lake Superior?
• No one has ever been.
• The airport (which has Chick Fil-A in it) is ranked in the top 3 in the US every year.
• Opportunity to re-enact Mighty Ducks 2 @ the Mall of America.
• Was just recently ranked the happiest state in the US.
• Tons of culture.
• I found some flights to and from London for $450.
• It really is an incredible city.

Yet again, it's not going to blow anyone away, but I'm confident it will be a unique and fun experience, and promise to do the best host job I possibly can.
