PCTI Careers and Family, Part I

JOE
Name/Nickname: Unsure at this point..Doctor, Actor, $ingz, JT$ingz. What is a name really other than an artificial construct to label your ego?
Where do you live: Century City, CA
Where do you work: All over Los Angeles, CA
What is your job title?:  Actor/Writer/#1 Rated Hiking Guide to the Hollywood Sign (on AirBnb)
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: wake up at 5:15am. Work out. Head to a hike around 7:30am. Come home around noon. Eat lunch. Write for a couple hours. Go to acting class. Come home. Journal. Go to bed. Wake up at 2:15am to pee (growing problem not going problem). Rinse and repeat.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: I take groups of 10-20 people on a guided hike up to the Hollywood Sign. It will be the number 1 booked experience in the world on the AirBnb Experiences tab. Gotta pay the bills somehow! Link To the Hike  . Also, I just shot a pilot called "Dead Ends." Pretty excited about it. Going to be pitching to some big folks here in about month regarding that project and two movies I've written.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Not dating anyone. Being lonely is the new black.
Do you have any kids?: I do not.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? I enjoy music festivals, California/The West Coast and all of its natural beauty, an early morning coffee, and good conversation.

DAN
Name/Nickname: Dan the Boy
Where do you live:  Dallas, TX.
Where do you work: Pro*Act LLC.
What is your job title?: Director, Client Services
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I facilitate information and try to influence people that know more than me.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: Yes, to never ask me about my job.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: I don't date during basketball season (shout out to John Tucker).
Do you have any kids?: 1-Madden.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? WWE wrestling, bathing (I take 2-3 each day), icing my body, and reading self-help books.

BC
Name/Nickname: I've gone by many names but I'm The Beast.
Where do you live: Lexington, KY
Where do you work: JMI Sports - We hold the multimedia marketing rights to University of Kentucky athletics.
What is your job title?:  Director of digital media and content development - my title is so much gaudier than what I actually do.
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I try to come up with #content about Kentucky athletics that our group can in turn sell to a sponsor.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: During basketball season I also host the weekly TV show for the Kentucky Basketball team. If you have FSN South, FSN Tennessee, etc. you can watch to see how I stay sharp for my PCTI sideline reporting. PS - will someone please take this job from me? I'm beyond tired of seeing my face, much less doing it.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Married. My wife Angie works in the news. She's the evening anchor for the NBC affiliate in Lex. She grew up here and is a UK alum. She thinks PCTI is stupid but she also thinks I'm stupid and I don't mean that in a cute way. She's been around since PCTI I and has asked me at most 10 questions about it, the vast majority of which deal with making sure I'm not inconveniencing her when I go out of town.
Do you have any kids?: Our first arrived about a short time after last PCTI. Little Boyd Carney, aka The Baby Beast, was born 8/8/18. At present he's approaching nine months old and has no teeth, no hair and has shown no signs of wanting to crawl. I think he might be left handed. I plan to be prove that having a kid does not have to negatively affect one's PCTI output.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? This year has been all about adjusting to and enjoying life with the baby. Real talk: having a kid is an incredible blessing and legitimately the coolest thing that's ever happened in my life. Several of the guys in the this group who have kids (it might have been all the guys, actually) reached out to me via text in the days after he was born to congratulate me and say some very nice things. It meant a lot. Aright, that's it for the sappy stuff, I'll save the rest of it for Saturday night in Minnie.

JUICE
Name/Nickname: Rainbow, Juice, Scrilla
Where do you live: T-Pad
Where do you work: Frankie V's Kitchen.
What is your job title?:  Purchasing Manager
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: We are a co-packer and processor in Dallas with a private hot sauce, soup and dressing label.  I manage the sourcing for the company.  I work from about 730 to 430 and then either head home to relax or hoop/lift.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: It's the first time in the past 5 years I haven't worked at the same company as Smo and that makes me happy.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Not married and not dating anyone.
Do you have any kids?: No little ones.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy?  Lately I've been working out a lot and training for a marathon in June.  Will be golfing more now that it is warm out.  Outside of that, just hanging with friends.

SPOT
Name/Nickname: Spotlight, Paco, #spotcut #nowyouseemenowyoudont
Where do you live: I decided to fuck off from Trump's America and of course landed in the most analogous place, the land of Brexit.
Where do you work: World Connect, spy(ish)
What is your job title?:  Program Manager and lead on the nappy changing project
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: As someone recently asked me, 'so do you just sit and look at your computer all day?' Pretty much, yeah. Before and after I do that I often look at my phone.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: I'm a super important person for you to know.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: I'm married to a beautiful wife who usually reads the blogs before I do, hi honey!
Do you have any kids?: We have a 4 month old boy named Phoenix, he's the best.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? Family (obvi), Twitter, eating ice cream, killing bugs, mostly just hoops

BEN
Name/Nickname: Benjamin Tyler Wilson. Nicknames I remember, chronologically: Plug (fat
baby)…Oscar the Grouch (from Sunday School teacher, must’ve loved church)…The Dome or Dome
(from baseball, I used the same helmet from when I was like 12 until I was in high school, let’s just say it
had a low crown)…Blur (from basketball, because I’m so fast)…BenWilson (from PCTI, so I don’t get
mixed up with the other Ben’s).
Where do you live:  (West) Nashville, TN.
Where do you work: Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt.
What is your job title?: Department Manager, General Merchandise.
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I’m over anything that has the Vanderbilt logo on it
(mostly clothing, then gifts/accessories, about 12 people in my department). I do a little over $6 million in
sales in a year, which puts me 4th out of about 720 stores in the company behind Harvard, Yale, and Penn (that was the best Donley description I could muster). 1x-2x times a year, I walk into work to find Joe Thompson harassing my employees…he arrives, raises hell, then leaves. Then the next day his bag boy Will shows up to handle his shopping.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: I hope to not be in
that job by the time PCTI9 rolls around.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Not married, been dating Alicia for about
2.5 years, living together for the past 1.5 years. We may get married someday when I can afford it.
She’s a business consultant for Ankura (formerly c3) and was recently voted part of the Top 30 under 30
here in Nashville by the Cystic Fibrosis foundation (NBD but KBD, again trying the Donley route). She’s
cooler than me.
Do you have any kids?: We have 1 son, Bear, an Australian Shepherd mix who is about 14 months old
and 75ish pounds. His PCTI comparison is Beas because he’s beautiful, strong, agile, and hellacious.
\We love to eat which is a problem re: maintaining some semblance
of shape. I used to go to many a concert but I’m sad to report my music intake has slowed down
considerably, which I didn’t think would happen this quickly. I like traveling (do a golf trip once a year, and
Alicia and I do a beach trip in October once a year). That rolls us into the next sentence, I enjoy hitting
the links when I can…handicap is sitting at a 6.2 currently (I am overrated) so I’m hoping to get some high
scores in the system before said golf trip in August. We also like doing all the things you do when you get
a dog, so there’s that. We also recently began attending an Illuminati-type gathering known as
SommDay, which is a monthly gathering of friends (notably 2 other PCTI’ers) to partake in food/wine
pairings at each other’s homes. Think the Finer Things Club, but better. It’s very bougie and uppity, Dan
would hate it. I think Spotlight would be the glaring next candidate to join if he lived on this continent.

AHOP
Name/Nickname: Anthony Hopkins, AHOP, Stubb
Where do you live: Just south of downtown Nashville
Where do you work: Hopkins-Page, my dad has a small accounting firm that I started working at about 20 months ago.
What is your job title?: No idea really. I think Staff Accountant might be on my LinkedIn profile. I do a lot of different things so it doesn’t really matter.
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I do your basic accounting work (tax returns, audit work, finances, etc.) which I barely knew anything about when I started and have learned as little as possible. I also handle the “IT”, payroll, billing, and any other menial tasks that come up.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: I don’t enjoy the work and am looking, so holler if you need someone with very little work place skills. But it pays DEM BILLZ
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Married to one of the OG PCTI wives, Carrie. She has met most of you and enjoys none of you (except the QP), so I know she’s a good judge. She is a marketing director and left Trevecca University in January for Smart Bug, which is a 100% remote company. She’s originally from Idaho, we met at UT and have been married 7 years. She is a catch and has a nice ass.
Do you have any kids?: We have one on the way and we are not finding out the gender. Hoping for a boy but we will probably keep it if it’s a girl. I am extremely excited and terrified at the same time.
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? Preds #glorious and Vols. Preds have really taken over due to Tennessee being dumb for over a decade. Carrie and I watch A LOT of TV. Going to the occasional concert. Other than that, just having some cold ones with my boyz. I’m up for any vice!

ABE
Name/Nickname: Josh Stephen - Abe (Abraham when I'm in trouble)
Where do you live: Denver, CO
Where do you work: Updog Dog Walking
What is your job title?:  Captain of Industry
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I email clients, handle scheduling, communicate with staff, walk dogs, and build systems
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: I may sell the biz next year and am wanting to open/buy a doggy daycare.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Single and alone. Just ended a 4 year relationship but the future is bright my friends. I expect to be FaceTiming nightly with DK with a nice glass of Pinot talking PCTI soon enough
Do you have any kids?: Just the pup - best kid ever
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? Being outside and enjoying all this great state has to offer. Hiking, snowboarding, camping, dog parking, all that jazz, usually while high on the marijuana. I really like my job most of the time and I'm also a sucker for a good breakfast burrito.

BRUISE
Name/Nickname: Bruiser VanHo
Where do you live: the NOLA (Nolensville) - Buuut just signed a contract to build a home near Page High School out in College Grove.
Where do you work: DC Integration - We design and install conveyor systems for Distribution Centers
What is your job title?:  General Manager
Give us a day to day breakdown of what you do: I run this bitch. We're a smaller company personnel wise so I do a little bit of everything. I try to make sure everyone is doing their jobs, our projects run well, over see all financial and legal aspects of the company, budget and plan for future growth, etc.
Anything else of importance we need to know about your job or what you do?: Not really.
Are you married or dating anyone? If so, tell us about them: Married to Allison. She's a pretty solid, down to earth chick who's has a great heart and is just an overall very nice person.  We went to the same high school but didn't really hang out that much until after college.
Do you have any kids?: 2 girls: Evelyn-3yrs & Emma-1yr
Outside of ball, what do you enjoy? Exercising/playing sports, doing things out doors, golfing, grilling, boozing, a good glass of vino, Bama & Titans Football, playing video games, space stuff.
