Team Strengths – Ben
2) Raining 3s – Equally remarkable, this team
boasts 5 players that have made at least 5 triples in a single PCTI game, led
by Ben (7), Hops (6), Abe (5), Spot (5), and Beas (5). Although Spotlight is
the only shooter on this list above 34% from 3, it signifies that any of these
players can get hot from deep and tilt the balance of a game. Quick note that
Smo has played in 27 PCTI games and never attempted a 3 ball.
3) QuadPod – This group will either pull the team
together or rip it apart from the inside. Looking forward to a good show either
way.
Team Strengths – DK
2) Efficiency – Perhaps not as explosive as the
other team, DK's group is full of players who produce efficient, consistent
performances. BC is a lifetime 44% shooter, DK shot 50% from 3 in PCTI 7, and
teammates Sabin, TP, and Bruise are lifetime 42% shooters. Even though Joe is
thought of as more of an explosive performer, he is also in 40%+ club. If this
team can produce consistently efficient performances, it will put pressure on
Ben’s team.
3) Boards – I recognize that this is just my subjective
opinion, but I will state that this team has the best two rebounders in PCTI
and 3 of the top 4. My hope is that this gives us some extra shot opportunities
and possessions to tilt the scoreboard in our favor. While the other team has consistent
producers on the backboards, this should be a strength that could ultimately
tell the tale in PCTI 8.
Sabin
QP is dead... Beas hasn't spoken about it in three years and Abe hasn't spoken in three years.
ReplyDeleteGreat insight as usual, Sabes.
