PCTI8 Rivalry Watch

First official rivalry watch, and man does it look ugly for one of the team's captains...

• Big Brent and Ben:
• STORY-LINE 1, Taking Out the Trash: This started years ago than got covered up by the media, but it's back in a big way... Depending on where you stand on the trash can heard round the world incident last year, it's important to note how poorly the Big Guy took the lack of appreciation for the biggest shot in PCTI history... What has gone covered up through Big Brent pounding his chest about not being appreciated was how incredible of a pass it was that Ben made to save the play and set up the game clinching shot.  
• STORY-LINE 2, Decorated History: Despite a better career record and comparable overall stats, it's no question Big Brent is less loved in the PCTI community than Ben, reflected by Ben's 1 MVP and 3 ATT selections, compared to Big's 1 DMVP and 1 ATT and dead even career stats.
• Smo and Ben:
• STORY-LINE 1, Disrespect: For those that don't know Smo, the guy can slip into Diva mode and make life a living hell for everyone involved if provoked... And Ben poked the bear in a big way... Cutting one of the funniest promo's in PCTI history, Ben provided some in depth analysis on Smo and what he will be bringing to his team which can be interpreted simply as "Nothing."
• STORY-LINE 2, Trade Value: In behind the scenes news, Dan and Ben were in trade talks for Dan to acquire the rights to the man they call Smo, only to be brutally rebuffed... After the video analysis Dan went in with an offer he felt Ben couldn't refuse (Smo for nothing), but he did not bite... Now you are left with a disrespected, unmotivated diva that hates basketball and hasn't played in two years to do your teams dirty work in the trenches.  
• Actor/Sabin and Ben:
• STORY-LINE, "Giving A Crap:" Actor and Sabin have been well regarded as two of the top guards in PCTI their entire career, with Act being a one time MVP and two time ATT selection, and Sabin being elected a one time DMVP and one time ATT... This year, they were both passed up by two up and coming prospects in Beas and Spotlight, and the reason was sighted by Ben as the fact that he likes "Playing with people that give a crap." If you're either Act or Sabin, there's no other way to take it than you just don't care as much as the other two.
• Smooth vs. PCTI:
• STORY-LINE, Gaining Respect.... There's no doubt The Smooth is coming into PCTI with the least amount of fanfare in league history.  Between the nickname, a propensity for emotional play, and the way he was added has a lot of people upset and gunning for him come PCTI8.  That will only get worse when he hits his first 3 and starts running his mouth.
