Think this post was supposed to be titled "Copy Cat, Part 1"

Because Tony Hopkins sucks at alot of things, most importantly putting Youtube videos into blog posts, he consulted the Master of that shit after seeing my work on my music post.  I guess I inspired him to do a similar post, much like Donley was inspired mere weeks ago.  The following is Anthony's post...fucking copycats:

Since Ben and Scott both wrote about the things they know, I decided to be a little copy cat and do the same thing. Anyone who really knows me, knows I'm obsessed with television. I am all about wasting time, and what better way to to become a lazy sack and lose yourself in an alternate universe. I have watched hours upon hours of TV and I'm not even counting sports. I have become the aficionado for my friends when looking for a new TV show. I don't care that Danny thinks this is a waste because he watches the Bachelor and Bachelorette (both which have been on the air about 8 years too long) so his opinion is a joke. In order to tie this in to PCTI, I will compare each player to a TV show. The player might remind me of the overall premise of the show or a certain character. Also, I will be sharing a quick clip from each show that I think helps show why I made the connection to the player. Part I I am going to compare the Josh Stephen All-Stars to their respective shows.

Carney – Arrested Development – Other than Larry David being the funniest character in the history of TV, Arrested Development might be the funniest, smartest comedy ever. The three seasons it had was the most well written comedy that’s been on TV. I think BC is a funny dude and uses his intelligence to boost his humor. Plus this clip is perfect for him on opposite day!

Donley – Cheers – This dude knows his beer! The cast of this show is stupid good (including a young Woody Harrelson, one of the greatest white movie basketball players ever). Plus don’t we all want to go where everybody knows our names (aka PCTI)?

Eskildsen – Sons of Anarchy – This show is all about being a badass and Brian is the biggest badass around. I heard he was thinking about renting a hog to ride in Dallas, but Pitto said he didn’t want to ride on his back unless it was in a bedroom. B-EZ would also look like Jacks Teller if he grew out a beard and got a huge grim reaper tattoo on his back.

Hopkins – Homeland – I’m like Brody. One minute you think I’m a calm family man, the next I might be your worst enemy and attacking you. Plus this is one of the best new shows on TV and I think very highly of myself. Plus I’m thinking of applying for the CIA.

Pitto – Nurse Jackie – What is more fitting for a whiny little guy who likes to try and boss people around? A whiny little manly looking woman who likes to boss people around.

Spotlight – Dexter – This man is a mystery to all of us. The Spotlight could be a heroic serial killer for all we know! He also has cut people up on the basketball court (see what I did there).

Stephen – Cougartown – Another obvious choice. What a lot of people don’t know about this show is it is pretty funny and resolves around drinking. So if you don’t think this is a good comparison, you need to go watch more tv.

Thompson – Entourage – This show is roughly based on Joe’s life now. I cannot wait for him to blow up so I can go be the Johnny Drama to his Vince. Side note: he resemble E (Eric Murphy). #wet

Editor's note:  I love that Pitto's video was the only clip that couldn't be posted directly to this post.  I think Pitto infected my computer with Smug overload after listening to that podcast and now all things Pitto will not function correctly on here, most notably the leaked compilation I found on the Interwebz of he and Brian's intimate Chat Roulette sessions where they watch each other rub one out!  It was such a good video, a damn shame it doesn't work anymore #slighthomo

  1. BC is a clone of Buster with his mental breakdowns. There was no better episode than on the boat when Buster shriveled up into a ball.

Donley and Cheers was spot on. Couldn't you see him loving every second of walking into a bar and the bartender going "Hey Scott" and pops the top of his favorite beer?
