I cannot criticize another's no-show to V since I am unable to play. But I have to say that the circumstances surrounding his absence are nefarious and deserve additional scrutiny.
That being said, I hated playing with this guy in I and II. However, I gained newfound respect for his game in IV since I found it next to impossible to keep him in front of me. It is very telling thing that almost my entire team (me included) voted him all-tournament in IV, while not a single teammate of his voted him to the same distinction. The talent is there, but are the intangibles? I'm reminded of the polarizing Terrell Owens, whose coach said of him "He only learned to say hello when it was time to say goodbye."

This was your best effort so far
ReplyDeleteI've never spoken to Pitto.
ReplyDeleteI never would have taken Pitto to be a family first guy.
