Since I need to do something besides work and PCTI is coming
together nicely, I wanted to start writing more posts. The idea for a post is
the most challenging since we have cranked out so many over the last couple
years. This year I will start off (try to get my creative juices flowing) by
going through each player’s greatest strengths. Some will have more than
others, but hopefully this will help get the ball rolling for other posts.
Team Vision Board:
- BC – Long athletic who can score in a variety of ways. Hits the boards on both ends
- Benji – Explosive scorer who can finish on either side. Has good vision.
- Bruiser – Strong physical presence in the paint. Does a good job of pinning his man down low. Cleans up the defensive boards.
- Donley – Another guy who can hit the boards at both ends. Can knock down open shots but also create his own shot.
- Joe – Reigning MVP who can catch fire at any time. Great on the O boards when he decides to hit them.
- Sabin – Can score from anywhere on the floor and competes at high level at all times. In good shape.
- Spotlight, QP – Constantly moving on offense and knocks down shots when he gets the opportunity.
- Wes – Good at getting the ball moving and knocking down shots. Does a good job keeping his man off the defensive glass.
Team #lambogrind :
- Abe, QP – Constantly moving and can score from anywhere on the court.
- The Cap’n, QP – Athletic point who creates for his team while also being able to score at a high clip.
- DK – Vocal leader who can lock down on defense and nail a mid-range jumper.
- Hops, QP – Unselfish on offense. Can guard multiple positions on defense
- Pitto – Quick guard who can penetrate and finish or dish. Excellent stand still shooter.
- Run BMC – Moves well without the ball. Runs the florr. Knocks down open shots. In good shape.
- Skillz – Good on defense and very good creator on O. Communicates well and a smart player.
- Smo – Does a good job making shots difficult around the rim. Hits the boards. Good at stepping out and hitting a midrange shot.
Keep em' comin!
ReplyDeleteYEEEEAAAHHH! Lets get the chatter started. Bring on the weaknesses, I need something more to read besides all these damn spreadsheets.

For possibly the worst collective shotting percentage group in history (excluding Saban - PCTI III), there sure a lot of guys that can knock down an open shot.
ReplyDeleteShout out to Scott D. for the most true statement made since this league's inception.
ReplyDeleteThere's that "explosive" tag again...Ahop gets it.
ReplyDeleteHe definitely gets it. I'm knocking down those mid rangers at 15% a clip... Sad that I still consider it a strength.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your team name? I am bo grind?
