Sorry for the delay in this post. I have tallied all the votes (except Smo's) and will post the All Tournament team along with the MVP. First, I am still waiting on BC and Beas (along with Smo) to vote for how many players they want moving forward. With those 3 missing, we still somehow managed a tie. 5 votes for 14 players and 5 votes for 16 players, and we also got one vote for 15 players (including Eskildsen) because "someone will always drop out or be hurt." While most likely true, it would be difficult to handle that, especially if best case scenario happened and no one dropped. I will try and find out where Beas and BC stand, but as of right now we do not have a decision made.
As for the all tournament team, this was a very lopsided vote. Our winner had 11 of the 13 votes. 6 total people got a vote. Here are the two that got votes, but did not make the team.
BC (big time Vols fan) got two votes. Just a little short!
Joe Thompson with a impressive 3 votes. I still stick to my theory that if your team gets swept, no one should get a vote, but alas, Joe got a few. Congrats on just missing out Actor.
Now for the AT Team:
TIED for the second spot on the AT Team goes to DK and Spot. Arguably the ugliest player in PCTI now that Pitto is out (DK), and the best looking (Spot, tied w Beas) both got 5 votes each. I did not want to wasted the time to go back and do a tie breaker. So congrats to both of you'ns.
First spot on the AT Team:
Michael Beasley! The only person to take a couple votes away for MVP besides the guy below. 2 MVP and 4 All Tourney votes got him on the All Tournament team. Congrats to my boy Beas!
MVP and Least Likable go to....
Ben committed to getting back to old form for PCTI V so he quit his job and concentrated solely on getting back in shape. This really paid off as he dominated PCTI and won MVP. The big question going into PCTI S6X is can he duplicate that effort? Will we play on a short court again? He has committed to no job for a little bit to continue his focus on PCTI, so the odds makers like him as early front runner for repeat MVP. Congrats big boi!
