Wild Animal Post - Actor

Act: Black Mamba
Finishing Move: Venom
Temperament: Aggressive when Threatened
Similarities: Fast, Nervous, Aggressive, Mean, Vindictive, Non-Confrontational, Agile, Adaptable, Dangerous, Vindictive, Independent, Fearless.
Commentary: The best part about this series is choosing a comparison, than finding out fun facts like "Black Mamba's are adaptable and can live anywhere," something the Act prides himself on.  Black Mamba's, similar to Actor are a little misunderstood... They can be your best friend and actually desire peace and harmony, but the second you cross them, they are your worst nightmare.  If you make the mistake of attacking either one personally, not only will you get destroyed, but the destruction won't stop.  It's not as simple as a deadly bite, or a 3 ball in your eye.  Both will keep going until you never set foot near their property ever again.  Mamba's are the fastest snake on the planet, and Act might be the fastest Caucasian.

Fun Fact: Mamba's venom posses acid-sensing ion channels in the central and peripheral nervous system, causing a pain-inhibiting effect.  One has to wonder if this study was conducted by Dr. Joe Thompson?  The video below doesn't show much, but figured the title was fitting.

Wild Animal Post - Orr

Orr: Poison Dart Frog
Finishing Move: Venom
Temperament: Passive
Similarities: Lethal, Unassuming, Small Appetite, Territorial, Ability to Avoid Conflict, Easily Annoyed.
Commentary: If you don't know about this animal, you better get with it.  Notoriously ranked in the top three most deadly, a Poison Dart Frog will take you down... Quickly.  Anyone that knows Smo knows what the guy is capable of if you get on his bad side.  What makes both so lethal is you never know they are about to destroy you... They just do it.  Although neither possess an overpowering exterior, rarely are they attacked due to highly regarded reputation for destruction.  Neither are aggressive by nature, but both hate being touched, and are easily annoyed... Making them terrifyingly unpredictable.
Fun Fact: A Poison Dart Frog has enough venom to kill 10 grown men, making them the most poisonous animals in the world.

Wild Animal Post - Wilson

Ben Wilson: Cape Buffalo
Finishing Move: Bull Rush
Temperament: Passive Aggressive
Similarities: Size/Speed Combo, Unassuming Athleticism, Lack of Lateral Ability, Strong, Straight Line Attacks, Tough to Stop, Stoic Exterior, Non-Stoic Interior, Amazing Memory, Moody, Need for Non-Stop Hydration, Dangerous, Emotional, Large Head.
Commentary: When in attack mode, neither Wilson nor a Cape Buffalo care who or what is standing in the way.  They use their size/speed/strength combo to offset a lack of lateral quickness to overpower the defense. Both are highly emotional and have a vindictive side that they only show by a refusal to stop going at the opposition.  Both are quiet stat stuffers, with Cape Buffalo's quietly piling up 200 human kills a year, and Wilson always finding a way to keep his numbers up year in and year out.
Fun Fact: Cape Buffalo's are as fast as Lions.

Wild Animal Post - Sabin

Jeff Sabin: Hyena
Finishing Move: Teamwork
Temperament: Hyper Aggressive.
Similarities: Team Focused, Strategic, Submissive to Women, Emotional, Relentless, Mis-Leading Appearance, Loud, Influential.
Commentary: Talk about an easy one.  Name a more vicious animal than a Hyena?  They drive every other animal crazy, and despite their lack of anything physically redeeming, they perform at a high level because of their awareness of physical limitations, and ability to play within a system. Enter Sabin, who's entire basketball career success can be attributed to playing well within the system.  Hyena men take a back seat to the women, which Sabin has chosen to do in his day to day life.  Don't let either fool you with their nice appearance, both are vicious savages internally that want to rip you to shreds.
Fun Fact: Hyena's are known for influencing human spirits.  Anyone ever said that about Sabin?  I think so!

Wild Animal Post - The Beast

For those of you that don't know, one of my bucket list items is to set up a Battle Royal at Kruger National Park... I would charge more than whatever the highest priced fight boxing ticket cost, and it would be the most epic fight of all time...

I spend a lot of time watching wild animal stuff on YouTube... If you have ever looked at the PCTI stations recent videos, you will likely see a lot of Hippo attack videos.  Anyway, thank you Hops for the opportunity to Lorenzen write this up.

The Beast: Giraffe
Finishing Move: Curb Stomp
Temperament: Bi-Polar
Similarities: Unexpected Aggression, Unassuming Power, Length, Big Upper Body, Small Lower Body, Kicking Fetish, Dual Threat, Fake Nice, Lack of Need for Water.
Commentary: Chronically underrated, both The Beast and the Giraffe don't get enough love for being a go to assassin.  Each can hurt you multiple ways, with the Giraffe's stomps and neck swing, and the Beast's inside out game.  Despite a frail frame, both can take a lick with the best of them.
Fun Fact: A giraffe's kick can decapitate a lion.
