FaceTime!

Recently, Spotlight and I got to spend some time together in the BIG Apple!! Originally, we were supposed to do a podcast (more on this later) but once we decided not to, we obviously stumbled into more #content.

It all started, as most nights with us do, by us having a few cocktails, a nice dinner, and talking about PCTI. We obviously talked about the Quad Pod and we decided we wanted to FaceTime Abe and Beas. Once we talked to Abe, we knew we had to try everyone. Here are the notes that we had on the calls:

No Answer:

Dan - no surprise here, mainly because it was after 10 pm on a Friday and we know he was passed out after chugging tequila for the last few hours. We did give him a second chance just in case he was taking a dump or something. No answer still.

Sabin - Probably doesn't know how to answer FaceTime.

Bruiser - Probably thought it was an accident.

Smo - Mad because I interrupted his brazzers video that he was jerking it to in the bathroom.

Kyle - WAY too cool to answer a FaceTime

Donley - 8:40 pm his time, so I assume he was still tied up at the office. Actually, he was the only one that I missed that texted the next day, so shout out to Big Don!

Deuce - Obviously was getting head or something awesome.

Answered:

BC - This FT was so great. Spot and I both said it's 50/50 he answers. He answered on the 6th ring... in the bathroom. We assumed he was in the middle of sex and left to answer, he assured us this was not the case. He immediately said, "I assumed that y'all were together and FaceTiming everyone in PCTI because you talked to someone earlier that made you want to call others." NAILED IT! We chatted for a little bit and said we were taking notes for a post. He had the idea to screenshot the calls, which we immediately did. BC knows how to create good content!
Abe - was the first guy we tried and he answered... on a date. This was his third date with ole lady and they had just taken a 3 hour bus ride up to a mountain to shred some fresh pow. (who else would do that on date 3? Abe is so awesome) We of course played long distance wing man and talked for as long as he would allow us. Big props to Abe!

Beas - missed us the first time but FaceTime'd us back. Him and Spot swooned over each other and I got a first row seat. He told us about the BANGER he was going to be throwing the next day and we of course looked up flights to get out there. We did not get a FaceTime screen shot of him, so here's a pic of him dressed up from his party.

Joe - he was also one that hit us back up. He was partying hard in the Hills with movie stars and most likely going to take home one of the co-stars from Black-ish. He ended the call because he was going into a tunnel.

Ben - We got some quality time with him because his girl was out partying on Broadway in Nashville. Had a heart to heart and always good to talk to Beni. Hopefully Alicia found someone better at the bars and will dump him soon. Also forgot to get a screenshot so enjoy his selfie!

Juice - he answered and was raging. At an ugly Christmas sweater party. We could barely hear him but he was on a date, so we pressured him into introducing us. I was pleased to know she knows about PCTI and pretended to think it was cool. Juice being a cool kid year round.

TP - when he answered, he was clearly stepping away from a party. When we asked he said it was at his house. No one can out party TP and I love him for it. He also was the biggest lock to answer.

Smooth - had to save this one for last. He was chilling at one of his boys house. We talked for a bit and told him Dan didn't answer. He gave us some inside info that Dan has been putting on the weight. Clearly, Dan is taking the loss at PCTI worse than we thought. Smooth always entertains me when hes's awake.

Annoucement

I figured I'd wait to the end to see who all stuck around. After talking with Spotlight, who was supposed to pitch Boston, he decided to pass on that pitch until another year. The good news is there were only 2 other pitches and they have already been recorded. I have to edit them and make sure I can post them properly but I will try and get them up as a Christmas gift to Dan. Once they are up, we will vote on where to go for PCTIELEVEN!

Wild Animal Post - Biz

Biz: Tiger
Finishing Move:  Jaw Crunch
Temperament: Gentle on the outside, fierce on the inside
Similarities: Stubborn, Pretty, Authoritative, Territorial, Leadership, Muscular,  Curious, Daring, Rebellious, Athletic.

Commentary: Both the Tiger, and Beas possess a pretty complete arsenal when going in for the kill.  Neither are overpowering in any metric, but a well rounded set of skills enables them to beat you in multiple ways.  Although tigers should be kept in the mild, some tend to become pets as people love their look, and try to make them domestic.... That works until the Tiger loses control of their emotions when their blood sugar drops (something Beas knows a little something about), and eventually feasts on their master. Beas suffers from the same level of confusion, as he spends his time trying to portray himself as someone who can hang in the wild all day, than quietly reverts back to his Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton.
Fun Fact: A tiger's appetite is so significant that it dies quicker than any other animal when it goes unfed.

Good luck with that stick

Wild Animal Post - Spotlight

Spotlight: Hawk
Finishing Move: Long Nails
Temperament: Gentle on the outside, fierce on the inside
Similarities: Passionate, Independent, Natural Born Leaders, Confident, Spontaneous, Adaptable, Lack of Elite Measurables, Effortless Movement, Compassionate, Elite Vision.

Commentary: Let's be very clear, if either Spot or the Hawk was blessed with either deadly measurables or venom, they would be at the top of the kill list... Their natural abilities on the inside make them prime for attacking... And they make the most of what they were given physically.  A hawk is limited to one way to kill pray, and that's a massive set of claws that can rip you to shreds.  Similarly, Spot does his damage slicing his way through the defense and either creating an open shot for a teammate, or finding an open spot on the court.  Hawks are known as natural born leaders, a quality that Spotlight exudes whether it be through coaching, or nation building.
Fun Fact: A hawks eyesight is 8 times better than the sharpest human eye.

Not a lot of hawk attacks on YouTube, but I was able to identify that Hawks and Crow's fight a lot, which makes me sense because it comes so natural to Spot and I.

Wild Animal Post - Kyle

Kyle: Grizzly Bear
Finishing Move: Maul
Temperament: Methodical
Similarities: Measurables, Hardworking, Observant, Perfectionist, Shy, Independent.

Commentary: Grizzly Bears, like Kyle were blessed with a rare combination of elite physical attributes, along with the personality traits to be one of the most dangerous in their respective industries.  Although their natural tendencies is to be reserved, when engaged in what they do, they are relentless, strategic, and hardworking... They also can beat you in multiple ways.  The bear can run you down and stomp you, maul you, climb a tree and throw you off, get in water and drown you, or just eat you alive.  Kyle can outrun you for layups, destroy you in the post with either hand, out muscle you, out finesse you, out hustle you, convert free throws... And if all else fails, he will just knock down a 3.  Neither have an achilles heel, which makes them one of the most lethal combinations on this list.
Fun Fact: A grizzly bear's jaw is strong enough to crush a human head.

Look at the freak speed of this monster...

Wild Animal Post - Smooth

Smooth: Panda Bear
Finishing Move: Unexpected Lash Outs
Temperament: Passive Aggressive
Similarities: Cute and Harmless Look, Fluffy, Sleepy, Lazy, Dangerous, Hungry, Kinky, Broad, Emotional.

Commentary: Despite Smooth in the middle of a mid-life crisis/rebrand as a hard worker, it doesn't erase spending the last five years living the lifestyle a panda made famous - 12 hours of sleeping than 12 hours of eating.  Both appear very sweet, cuddly and innocent, but don't be fooled... Both are fiercely aggressive and will attack at the most unexpected times (Panda's out of nowhere, and Smooth when his team is down by 40).
Fun Fact: Panda's love threesomes and are known for being one of the most sexual animals.

Wild Animal Post - Abe

Abe: Elephant
Finishing Move: Trample
Temperament: Random Aggressiveness
Similarities: Intelligent, Elite Measurables, Lethal, Insane Memory, Aggressive, Powerful, Empathetic, Mischievous, Resourceful, Cooperative, Mass Consumption.
Commentary: Sans the Elephant being ugly and Abe being beautiful, this combo probably has the least exciting, but highest amount of similarities.  It's no secret that both have world class brains and memories, so we don't need to dig into that.  Elephants are one of those animals always in the top 10 on human deaths, but most of that is because they are just so damn powerful.  People don't look at Abe as an angry guy, but as it relates to overall aggressive behavior on the court, I would say no one even comes close.  And given his measurables (like Elephants), they can destroy their opponent at any point.  What intrigues me most is both are this unique blend of deadly and aggressive, yet cooperative and highly empathetic.  Neither stop eating, ever.

Fun Fact: Most Elephants are Homosexuals.

Watch the end.
