Roommate Draft Info

If you listened to the podcast, you know one of the most anticipated events in PCTI is taking place on Thursday throughout the day. After discussing with the board of trustees and a couple of outside consultants, The Fruit and myself have decided to change the format just a little.

First, we changed the captains from 6 to 5, thus taking responsibility and burden of picking roommates away from Run BMC. He is now put into the field of 10 players eligible for being drafted as a roommate. This also creates a situation where we will have four rooms of 3 people, and 1 room of four. Preliminary talks suggest that the room with 4 will be upgraded to a suite.

Second, because we don't want to figure out who should get the 4th person and the suite, we have decided to make it random. I have randomly selected a name from the field of 10 eligible players, and that person is not automatically the 4th roommate. When someone drafts this person, I will stop the draft, and notify the captain they have chosen the "4th man" and get to draft another person right then. (i.e. Let's say Pitto is the "4th man", if Wes chooses Pitto with his first pick, I then notify Wes he has the "4th man" and he gets to pick again right then)

Finally, we will be conducting this draft over the blog. If a captain cannot post to the blog, they will need to either email, text, call, or tweet at me their pick (and hopefully some analysis). There is no time limit and we will try and make this make everyone's workday fly by (minus Pitto).

Round 1:
1) Wes
2) Fruit
3) Doctor
4) Spotlight
5) Sabes

Round 2:
6) Sabes
7) Spotlight
8) Doctor
9) Fruit
10) Wes
